Social Standards

  • registered to SEDEX org

  • adhere to all local or national health and safety regulations

  • our workers have the right to join unions

  • wages and benefits paid for a standard working week, meet national legal standards or industry benchmark standards.

  • Working hours comply with national legal laws and benchmark industry standards. In any event workers do not work more than 48 hours per week.

  • there is no discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on race, caste, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, union membership or political affiliation

  • we provide an environment, which is conductive to the health of our employees (potable water, existence of a personal hygiene policy, first aid facilities, clean toilet facilities, etc.)

  • regular ands recorded health and safety training

  • tractors and fork lifts should only be used by staff who have received appropriate training

  • all staff should be aware of and protected against the hazards involved in using the machinery in place

  • child labor is not used

  • no harsh or Inhumane treatment is allowed
